Like many golfers, I constantly try to improve my game. My goal in creating the Swing Gauge was to just provide an easy way to see the swing plane edge-on in real time while taking full swings, and without having to look away from the ball.

bullet pointAbout The Invention

The first prototype was really just my dad (thanks, dad!) holding a mirror over another one that was on the ground. I kept asking him to bend the mirror a little more and a little more until it just exploded all over his garage. I was so impressed with what I saw that I went out the next day and broke the bank at the hardware store to build a real prototype. There were so many questions, like how to bend a mirror? would we ever be able to hit balls off of it? could it be made portable? how big should it be? Anyway, I have learned that if you obsess over questions like that you aren't going to get anywhere.
